Chance's email 5/7/2008

Hey mom happy mothers day! i hope you enjoy it a ton. i sent a letter off it should be there before sunday. London, sorry about the whole memory card thing i decided not to send it cause i dont know its hard to explain but i just decided not too. i am gonna take a sweet video and then i will send it home so you can wipe it clean. side note: did the raty's get my postcard? did mumsey and poppy get my postcard? cause i have sent a ton out and haven't recieved a response from them. do you usually write someone back if they give you a very detailed postcard that ask questions? ha ha just wondering but tell me the truth. london i do need some stuff thanks for asking! i need a washcloth rag thing for my face for nights. but only one! i need some crocs size 10 ish. as far as cookies go i have so many treats! but if you are absolutely dying to send me something, my next choice would be peanut butter bars. i am also cravin some gushers! ha ha but you tend to send more than necessary i only need one box! thanks london!ok mom and dad!mom i am sending a little something a made for you through the mail, its nothing big but i think its way cool! dont worry you don't need to display it anywhere but i just wanted to send it home and show you and the fam. i also have something else for you but it wont be here for another week so i will send it for your birthday! I am continuing to learn beyond anything i could have guessed! i love it here but i cant wait to go to chile! i seriously am being so blessed and i know part of it is because of your prayers. i greatly appreciate them! isn't that awesome about the chileans though? during my missionary directed time MDT, we go and find native missionaries and talk to them in spanish as they talk to us in english! its awesome to see us both slaughter the language yet understand each other! its one of my favorite things to do! i love it! ya about that sushi thing just dont send anything perishable again or they WILL confiscate it but man that was great. i wanna hear all about your trip! how was it? you can dear elder me that is totally fine cause i know you can say so much more in a dear elder!!! plus i dont think you can dear elder in the field so i will just recieve actual letters then. mom you were right about suzy and grandma they are giving me diabetes! but i love their treats! i love grandmas letters they are so fun to read make sure and tell her that, i will too but still. how are the jazz doing? i heard they are up against the lakers now big feat! what about american idol? my predicition is david a won. thats hilarious about paula what a legal blonde. i will make sure and send something to grandpa today. mom i love you so much and hope you have a great mothers day. DAD thanks for the letter i love hearing from you. my teacher tells me that we need to never stop our missions when we get home. of course we can change our schedules but never lower our standards its too risky.. How was england and ireland???????? did you see some of your families???? how was golf??????? was it unbelievable or what????? haha i hope the question marks bring the point across that i want to hear about it. dad i have learned so much while listening to my teachers they really know so much and are amazing people. i love your advice. i really have learned to teach the people and not the lesson. i look at facial expressions and can tell when to expound and when to summarize etc. the lord is helping me so much. i have been having the strongest spiritual experiences. i have learned so much by turning to the lord on my own and learning for myself. dad i didnt get around to those scriptures i am sorry but i will write them down in my planner right now and ponder them in my personal study tommorrow. i loved those quotes you gave me they were so inspirational and i love sharing them with my companions. dad i love you greatly and appreciate all the tips you have given me. one quick story. i have this tongan guy in my zone and he is such a stud and a half. he is so humble and loving and he is awesome. he hurt his knee playing volleyball so he is here for a little longer but all he wears are rugby jerseys and i was like dang i want one of those and he gave me one of his! its so cool i felt bad though but he is so awesome and i wanna be like him. he has a cool talent i will film a video and send you my card it is so cool!gotta go love you tons! elder peterson
