WHATS GOIN ON? ok so first things first....my companion got transferred! i feel bad putting an exclamation point at the end of that but i really feel relieved in a way. as missionaries we can only progress so far with our trainers because naturally they do the majority of the work and whenever we have difficulties they help us out. well i am very relieved in a way and also i feel a heavy responsibility to carry on the work in my area with another missionary that knows nothing about it. it really is a blessing though cause now i can explode with all the potential i have. it's gonna be hard but i'm gonna grow a ton! my companion was a great elder but i was just so different from him. for my 6mo mark he threw a party at night in our house and bought a cake and asked some members to make brownies and chocolate chip cookies(very low quality) and we made pizza and partied. he really is awesome and i will remain in contact with him. he really needed me as a companion and i him. we learned a lot together and improved ourselves like no other. my new companion is named elder olsen. he is very very very different from my crazy uruguayan comp. he is from wyoming and is mr sci fi if you know what i mean. haha ya he has glasses and ya just use your imagination. well he is cool he isn't mr silencio so thats good and he laughs at little things so i thing we will be good. i don't think i have to worry about recieving too many hugs from him. i really loved your letters this week. i am shorter on time today cause i wrote marcus a letter and sissy a short email and i had some other stuff to do. can you guys believe i already have 6mo? it has gone by fast and slow cause it seems like it has been 10 years but each month flies by. i think the time is gonna cruise now cause i have much more responsibility. mom i'm glad to hear that you enjoy "one step at a time", i was happy to hear i motivated you! i am so stoked that bryce got his call again! i will definately pray for him and i have confidence that he can do it! please send him my love and tell him to "party on wayne" . what is his email cause i can email friends no prob. you can give him mine if he wants to shoot me somethin. im so happy to hear that you guys are recieving so many blessings. it makes me glad to know that i'm doing good not only for the chilenos buy for my family also. dad thanks so much for the dale carnegie advice! i can really use it and apply it for everything! president may has always told us that our most important investigator is our companion. once i put him first in everything and stopped trying to justify everything, our companionship improved drastically! it was amazing how my love for him grew and how our relationship grew. i just learned how to serve him and share what i have and give him love in the way he needed it. it was so so hard for me to do but once i did it i felt so good! i felt the help of heavenly father and i recieved strength to continue doing it. the lessons i learned with him are priceless and i will always remember that we are happiest when we put others first. TRY IT! could you ask bryce for rob davis´s address i have wanted to write the kid he is awesome. the advice i would say to give to the future missionaries is to follow and sustain you leaders in the mission, and put your companion first in the mission. forget yourself, the mission is about others. i was too blinded by worrying about doing the missionary work that i couldnt see that my companion was the one that needed my help the most. i feel like i was his companion to help him and if we did missionary work that would be great too but he needed my help more. i wish i would have learned that before my mission, putting our companions first. i love you all and i'm excited to hear the news from sissy, send my love to all!
