London was asked by the Bishop of our ward to be a volunteer counselor at EFY this summer. She began her amazing week of fun and fatigue on June 9th. These darling girls (above) that she is sandwiched in between were her girls for the week. She and her girls along with her co-counselor (Brian) and his boys were a 'company' called "No Temptation".
Throughout the week this company became well known in their session for being energetic and friendly to everyone. They were an extremely cohesive group that developed great love and respect for one another.
It was an emotional night for London on Friday when the boys in her company presented her with a dozen roses and a notebook they had all written in expressing their love and appreciation for all that she had done for them and taught them throughout the week! London said this has been one of the most rewarding things she has ever done and would like to apply to be a "paid" counselor for next summer! Apparently it's quite the process to become a counselor, but she has a few leaders that were quite impressed with her abilities and want to recommend her! GO LONDON!!!

We love EFY!!!! I have always thought it would be so much fun to be a counselor. Wow... how can these amazing kids be anything but that with you two as parents, Mexico, Chili, China and everyday life in the Peterson house. I want to live with you!
